restoration. Surprisingly, most of these restorations were able to be "pulled out" in one piece with all of the pins still attached and still diverging from one another.

Case 24

A full arch palateless removable denture for the edentulous maxilla using triplants and an early template design

It is now known that pin or post type implants in an edentulous maxilla must be combined with a template, which helps distribute stress and stabilize the implants. It also keeps the wet acrylic used for fastening the triplant pin heads together away from the soft tissues, thereby preventing tissue burns or irritations caused by the acrylic. Here an early template is used with triplants.
