This is one of the few totally edentulous (1) pre-pterygoid extension implant cases in which bone morphology al-lowed the use of a "conventional" subperiosteal implant in the upper arch. The implant's major support is palatal with posterior extensions designed to wrap around the buccal face of the tuberosity. The implant was seated (3), and the tissues closed (4) and allowed to heal (5) before impressions were taken. The final prosthesis (6) is a palateless denture.
