This clearly demonstrates the elimination of the palatal struts that were originally used with the earlier designed toroplants. The toroplant is inserted at the second surgical visit, 1,2,3,. At that very same visit or after healing has taken place the superstructure with horizontal passive attachments is fitted over the horizontal bar of the toroplant, 4,5, and an inter-occlusal record of centric relationship is taken. After healing, 6, the completed palateless denture is seated and properly articulated.
