Adequate bone anterior to sinus only

One of the totally edentulous cases (1) restored with bladevents. The nicely healed tissues (2) are ready for an impression for the final prosthesis. Note that the posts have been reduced to improve parallelism. Because the mouth is small and sturdy bladevent support was limited to the more anterior regions, the restoration is carried out only through the second bicuspids (3). The molars are not needed to oppose their artificial mandibular counterparts.
