vent-plants, this case has been functioning for 6 years to date.

The patient, a woman in her early fifties, had completely collapsed upper and lower arches. Her old bridges were made in three sections. Her remaining teeth had loosened to such an extent that every time she would bite, both posterior quadrants

of bridgework would flare out buccally while her upper and lower anterior quadrants would collapse labially (Fig. 10-89) .

The three remaining upper teeth that were saved included two central incisors and an upper right second molar. These teeth were prepared for full crown coverage (Fig. 10-90). All necessary impres-
