A knife edge ridge with high muscle attachments, fig. 181, must be carefully evaluated before implant therapy is started. The blades are inserted carefully into the knife-edged ridge, fig. 182, and with the lowering of the muscle attachment, these tissues also can heal uneventfully, fig. 183.
