In this manner, when the tissue is approximating the implant post, it makes for easier suturing and neater adaptation of the tissues them-selves, figs. 21, 22. Healing is rapid and usually uneventful, fig. 23. Often, if the posts did not have to be ground down for paralleling, prefabricated plastic copings are fitted over the posts, fig. 24, and picked up with a plaster impression, fig. 25, for construction of the gold framework, in this case for acrylic teeth, figs. 26, 27, 28.
