The blade posts are ground down occlusally, fig. 12, and smoothed off with a rubber wheel, fig. 13. The tissues are sutured closed, fig. 14, and the interocclusal clearance is carefully checked, fig. 15. After healing, fig. 16, the fixed bridge is cemented in permanently, fig. 17.
