Single tooth blade

This case illustrates two points: the use of a single-tooth implant to avoid disrupting neighboring teeth, and the importance of pressuring parents to keep close surveillance over the child's oral hygiene habits. The bone around an implant can be eroded by plaque, just as that around a natural tooth, and cause the loss of both.
